Captain's Bio

Hello to all my fellow fishing radicals.  I have been a fishing  fanatic for as long as I could remember. Born in Cuba, I have been surrounded by the tropical waters of the Caribbean nearly all of my life. I grew up fishing the inland waters of southeast Florida. In between my bass fishing excursions, I remember the days when I would ask my parents if we could go to the local beach so that I could fish off the pier and they could enjoy the day at the beach. Back then, I felt as though every Friday was Christmas.

What you can expect from me is a tranquil and poised captain who  is capable of guiding an angler to their full  potential. I am a U.S.C.G. licensed and insured captain. I employ both modern and cultivated fishing strategies to attain a more ample approach which insures a great outdoors experience. I believe that venturing into the outdoors can be one of the most memorable and gratifying experiences in a person's life, and when spent with friends and family can lead to a more naturally developed state of conscious happiness. Every trip is a different voyage and with each new venture draws closer a new, beautiful memory which will remain in one's psyche for years to come.

We provide accommodation to the night owl anglers with our specialty night trips. You may want to chase commanding snook and tarpon, but we can also target reef table fare as well. Beginning in March of every year, we offer an inshore/reef  night combo package. It let's you cash in on some hard fighting tarpon and some tasty snapper for the dinner table!  If offshore species are your target, pending on the weather, we can run and gun for pelagic Dorado, Tuna, or Wahoo.   Always remember, when your on board with us your excursion will certainly be a south Florida escape to an unforgettable saltwater fishing experience.

Please keep in mind that we firmly believe in safety at RDC and assure everyone will be in good care. After all, that's what keeps us on the water. Please also be advised that we embrace a fish catching philosophy, meaning that we may not always catch the species targeted but will always catch something. To find out what that something may be, book your trip today!
